The newly designed Web site for Life Settlement Awareness Month, presented by Life Settlement Solutions, offers financial services and insurance
industry professionals educational resources to better serve their clients.
The new site, www.lifesettlementawarenessmonth.com, provides visitors updates regarding Life Settlement
Awareness Month news and educational events, steps to a successful sales campaign, and resources for agents and brokers to generate marketing and customer
contact activities.
During June 2007, a series of webinars will be hosted to educate agents and brokers, including “Life Settlements – The Fundamentals” and
“Life Settlements – Advanced Strategies.” There will also be workshops at key industry events and a Web-hosted event featuring key
insurance-industry figures Roscoe Smith of Agent Media Corp., Steve Walker of 21st Services, and Brian Casey of Lord, Bissell and Brook. In addition,
pending approval in all 50 states, Life Settlement Awareness Month will offer one of the first certified continuing education courses on life settlements,
covering topics included in the fundamentals and advanced courses, and beyond. This certified course will give agents credit toward their life licensing
continuing education requirements.
Life Settlement Awareness Month 2006 received an overwhelmingly positive response from professionals in the insurance industry, with several hundred
participants registering for and viewing the webinars hosted during the month.
Life settlements can be used to fulfill a number of financial-planning goals for clients, including restructuring life-insurance programs, funding long-term
care needs, charitable giving, wealth transfer or retirement programs.
