Fundamental Information on Life Settlements
Through Life Settlement Awareness Month
Industry Event Provided Information on the Growing Life-Settlement Market

While many financial professionals are interested in life settlements,
they are often challenged to find quality educational sources
on the growing secondary market for life insurance.
Throughout June, Life Settlement Solutions, Inc. hosted the third annual Life
Settlement Awareness Month – an educational series of events
started by the company in response to a growing need for educational
tools and resources regarding life-settlement transactions. The
month, which features sessions ranging from fundamental to advanced
topics, included free access to interactive panels, webinars and
workshops at prominent industry events such as the annual Million
Dollar Round Table meeting.
“Many financial professionals have expressed interest in life settlements,
but are met with a barrier when trying to gain the information and
knowledge necessary to enter the market,” said Larry Simon,

our fundamental webinars, we were able to offer those who may be
just starting out in the industry a means to become more successful
when working with life settlements.”
On June 17, Life Settlement Solutions hosted its second
Life Settlements Fundamentals webinar, which focused on providing
basic information on life-settlement transactions and trends in
the marketplace. The sessions combined garnered the interest of
250 financial professionals.
The Life Settlements Fundamentals webinar thoroughly covered the ins
and outs of the life-settlement industry, focusing on what life settlements
are, when they should be considered and how the transactions can
benefit financial professionals and clients. Other topics included
industry growth, the differences between a broker and provider and
when to work with each, characteristics of an eligible life-settlements
client and the transaction process. The presentation also included
relevant case studies and provided information on current regulatory
issues affecting the industry.
Additionally, as part of Life Settlement Awareness Month,
Life Settlement Solutions is also offering financial professionals
access to one of the first continuing-education courses certified
in all 50 states, as well as a seven-step marketing strategy to
help increase summer sales. Both the continuing-education
course and the summer marketing strategy are available through
