Life Settlement Solutions to Provide Workshop at Annual Million Dollar Round Table Meeting
Company to Promote Knowledge of the Secondary Market at Industry Event

In response to financial professionals’ need for knowledge
about life settlements, Life Settlement Solutions, Inc. is offering
a number of comprehensive educational tools as part of Life Settlement
Awareness Month™.
Life Settlement Awareness Month, which kicked off June 1, aims to educate
financial professionals about life settlements and the benefits the
transactions provide through a number of online panels, webinars
and a continuing-education course. Life Settlement Solutions
is also attending industry events throughout the month, where company
representatives will provide additional educational workshops and
sessions in an effort to increase knowledge about the growing secondary
market for life insurance.
“The recent 2008 Life Settlement Study, conducted by Agent Media, shows
only 35 percent of financial professionals have completed a life-settlement
transaction, mainly due to a lack of education on the industry,” said
Larry Simon, Life Settlement Solutions’ CEO and president. “Life
Settlement Awareness Month, as well as Life Settlement Solutions’ presence
at industry events, is helping to close the education gap and provide
those interested in life settlements necessary information to succeed.”
For the fourth consecutive year, Life Settlement Solutions will be attending
the Million Dollar Round Table annual meeting June 22 – 26
in Toronto.
Representatives from the company will be on hand at booth 120
to offer information about life settlements and help interested
professionals sign up for the remaining Life Settlement Awareness
Month events. Additionally, for the third consecutive year,
Life Settlement Solutions will be hosting the only in-person Life
Settlement Awareness Month event at the Million Dollar Round Table. The
free workshop will be offered on June 24 at 9:30 a.m. PDT (12:30
p.m. EDT) covering fundamental and advanced life settlements concepts. The
workshop is open to all Million Dollar Round Table conference
attendees.
All Life Settlement Awareness Month events are free-of-charge. This
year’s featured events include a case studies webinar, a market
trends and regulations webinar, a fundamentals webinar, two panels
featuring industry professionals and a new investors-only session. Those
interested in obtaining life insurance licensing credit can also
participate in Life Settlement Solutions’ continuing-education
course. The course is certified in all 50 states and will provide
information on how to enter the marketplace, the transaction process
and regulatory issues.
