help professionals who wish to incorporate life settlements into

the third annual Life Settlement Awareness Month™ in
June 2008. Life Settlement Awareness Month is dedicated to
providing life settlement education to industry professionals who
are seeking to increase their knowledge about the evolving marketplace
and gain access to important educational tools.
Throughout the month, a series of webinars will be held for both beginners and
those experienced with life settlements. These webinars will
include courses in fundamentals and advanced strategies, covering
market trends, regulation and advanced case studies, as well as interactive
expert panels featuring experienced industry professionals. There
will also be a new investor panel discussing life settlements as
an alternative asset class. The panel will focus on the investment
opportunities of adding life settlements to the portfolio mix and
detail the risks and rewards of getting involved.
The fundamentals webinar will focus on the basics of life settlements,
including an introduction and overview of the industry, information
on the state of the market, a step-by-step description of the transaction
process and tips on how to partner with a broker or provider.
The advanced strategies market trends webinar and regulations will cover
forces driving the industry and the forecasts for the upcoming year,
while the advanced strategies case studies webinar will focus on
estate planning with life settlements, using life settlements for
company-owned life settlements, restructured life insurance programs
and more.

19, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. PDT (1:30 p.m. EDT);
- In-person Life Settlements Educational Workshop at the MDRT
Convention in Toronto, June 24;
- Panel of Life Settlement Industry Experts: The Market Evolution,
June 30, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. PDT (1:30 p.m. EDT);
Also included in Life Settlement Awareness Month will be a newly certified
continuing education course for all 50 states, thoroughly covering
the life-settlement industry, ways to get involved and the various
uses of life settlements. The course could count for up
to eight credit hours of life insurance licensing continuing education,
so interested professionals should contact their individual state
to verify the available number of approved credit hours.
Additionally, to help prepare for Life Settlement Awareness Month, Life Settlement
Solutions is requesting that financial professionals provide examples
describing how life settlements have benefited their clients. These
life-changing stories will be included on the Life Settlement Awareness
